Service Description

RipCheck is an AI-powered receipt and price analysis tool. You upload a receipt, bill, invoice, or describe a purchase, and our AI compares the charges to fair market prices. We provide a rip-off score, line-item breakdown, and negotiation talking points.

Acceptable Use

RipCheck is intended for personal, non-commercial use:

• Checking your own receipts, bills, quotes, and invoices.
• Comparing prices before making a purchase or hiring a service.

You may NOT use RipCheck to:

• Harvest pricing data at scale for commercial purposes.
• Automate requests using bots, scrapers, or scripts.
• Upload illegal, fraudulent, or fabricated documents.
• Circumvent usage limits or abuse the free tier.

Accuracy Disclaimer

RipCheck provides AI-generated estimates, not financial, legal, or professional advice. Fair price ranges are approximate and based on national and regional averages. Actual prices vary by location, provider, time of year, and many other factors. Always use your own judgment when making financial decisions. RipCheck is a starting point for understanding pricing, not a definitive authority.

Payment Terms

• Free tier: 1 free receipt check per email address.
• Single check ($2.99): One-time payment for one additional analysis. Expires 30 days after purchase.
• Monthly ($6.99/mo): 25 receipt checks per billing period. Subscription auto-renews monthly. Unused checks do not roll over. Cancel anytime.
• Annual ($39.99/yr): 300 receipt checks per annual billing period, available to use anytime within that year (not limited to 25 per month). Subscription auto-renews annually. Unused checks do not roll over to the next year. Cancel anytime.
• Pro Annual ($99/yr): 1,200 receipt checks per annual billing period, available to use anytime within that year. Subscription auto-renews annually. Unused checks do not roll over to the next year. Cancel anytime.

When you have used all receipt checks included in your current billing period, additional analyses will not be available until your next billing period begins and your check allowance resets, or until you upgrade to a higher-tier plan. Your subscription remains active and you retain full account access during this time.

If you change your plan mid-billing-period, billing is prorated. When you upgrade, you receive credit for the unused portion of your current plan, applied toward the cost of the new plan, and your new check allowance takes effect immediately. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on subscription plans. If you are not satisfied with RipCheck for any reason, contact us at hello@getripcheck.com within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund.

Refund conditions:

• Refunds apply only to your first paid billing period as a RipCheck customer. Customers who cancel and later re-subscribe are not eligible for an additional refund window on the new subscription.
• Refund requests must be made within 30 days of your first-ever paid purchase date
• Single-check purchases ($2.99) are non-refundable. A single check grants immediate access to one receipt analysis and is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. Because access is granted at the time of purchase, single checks are not eligible for refund whether or not the analysis is used within the 30-day window.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
• To request a refund, email hello@getripcheck.com with your account email and reason for the request

Subscriptions can be canceled at any time from your Account page. When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period after the 30-day guarantee window.

Limitation of Liability

RipCheck is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions made based on our analysis. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to RipCheck in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of RipCheck after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
